Through The Eyes of a Tiger is the record of a 13-year journey of discovery that began in an old scrapbook, where the author’s grandmother had kept a copy of a handwritten letter from her nephew that began, “Dear Folks, Do not feel sad about my death…”

The author’s research into that 1942 letter uncovered a treasure—more letters, photographs, historical documents, and artifacts belonging to her cousin, John Donovan, one of the original Flying Tigers.

Susan Jimison, author of Dear Mark, lives in the Atlanta area with her husband Mike, and the best dog in the world—Dude. Her memoir, Dear Mark was nominated for the 2015 Georgia Author of the Year award in the memoir category.
